A few
days ago in speaking with my dear friend Sister Roberta Audate, an
American missionary in Haiti, she said the
security situation in Haiti is very much improved and the best it has
been for many years.
She remarked that she was even in Cité Soleil at 8 pm at night (unheard
of for Roberta who refuses to even answer her gate after dark, no matter
who is there). The UN still has a
strong presence there, and many of the gang members and dissidents have
been arrested or killed. This is unbelievable GREAT NEWS!!
